I don’t understand the goal of cheating on an aptitude test (or cheating period). Maybe for scholarship athletes just trying to meet the bare minimum? There are two equally bad conclusions:

  • You get a better score than you deserve. Maybe you parlay that into getting into whatever school/program (unlikely if your grades aren’t good to begin with). You fail miserably as you are now hopelessly in over your head. If you somehow cheat your way through school, good luck in the real world.
  • You really are perfectly capable; aptitude tests just aren’t accurate. However, you reinforce that they ARE, because you succeeded after (falsely) testing well. The (broken) system stays in place, so future generations continue to be judged by flawed measures.
